NSS Organises Brest Cancer Screening Camp

The NSS unit of Sriram Arts & Science College recently organized a Breast Cancer Screening Camp as part of its ongoing commitment to community health and awareness. Held in collaboration with local healthcare professionals and medical institutions, the camp aimed to educate women about the importance of early detection and regular screening for breast cancer. The initiative included awareness sessions, free clinical screenings, and one-on-one consultations with qualified doctors. A large number of women from nearby communities and college staff participated in the camp, benefitting from expert advice and preventive care services. This noble effort by our NSS volunteers not only spread crucial health information but also encouraged proactive health check-ups among women, fostering a culture of care and responsibility. We are organizing a Drug Awareness Program on 10th January 2025 at Sriram Arts & Science College, with the aim of educating students about the harmful effects of drug abuse and promoting a healthy, substance-free lifestyle.
