University of Madras B-zone men Games and Events National – All India - State level – Inter-zone Prize winners of our college student`s academic year 2012-2013.
Our Chairperson and Trustees and Secretary of Sriram Educational Trust for their exemplary contribution to honors the students by giving Cash Award. Rs.1,02,000/-
K.B. Yeswanth – I B.com Ken Bin Kai Junior National Karate Championship I Place with Winner Cup at Bangalore.
E. Senthamizh Arasu – III B.B.A 85 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter – Zone Weight Lifting Competition and also represents the All India Weight Lifting at Udaipur City.
M. Purusothaman – II M.com State Level First Place, P. Thenmizh Selvan – II M.Sc. I.T. Third place in Adhitynar Memorial Tamil Nadu Boxing Association in Neyveli.
D. Justin Dhiraviyam – III B.com was paced Inter-zone Second in the Weight Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
B.Senthamizhan – I B.com C.S was placed Inter zone Second in the Power Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.

N. Jayasankar – I B.Sc. Maths.83 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter-zone Power Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
P. Bharathidasan – III B.com 80 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter-zone Best Physique Competition Conducted by University of Madras.

    • Meaning of Physical Education:-

    The word physical refers to the body. It is often used in reference to various bodily characteristics such as physical strength, physical development, physical health and physical appearance. It refers to the body as contrasted to the mind.

    Introduction:-

    The body must to be vigorous in order to obey the soul; good servant ought to be robust. The weaker the body the more it commands, the stronger it is the better it obeys. If you would cultivate the intelligence of your pupil, cultivate the power it is to govern.
    In the College campus there are sufficient play ground facilities for the Students. Our men Students participated in Volley ball, Cricket, Foot ball, Shuttle Badminton, Chess, Boxing, Weight Lifting, Power Lifting, Best Physique and Athletics B-zone Men and Women Students in Kho-Kho, Shuttle badminton, Chess in the Inter-collegiate Tournaments conducted by the University of Madras.
