Student Activities

The Youth Red Cross is another service oriented organization. It trains students to put society before self. The principles governing the Youth Red Cross are promotion of health and voluntary service. Medical Awareness Programmes are conducted regularly. Students are also given a chance to serve society through crowd regulation at hospitals.
The college has two units of NSS. The NSS students are provided training in community service and civic awareness. They are also expected to take part in the week long annual camp organized to create awareness in villages. Students can also join the Red Ribbon Club which creates awareness on AIDS.

Our Chairperson and Trustees and Secretary of Sriram Educational Trust for their exemplary contribution to honors the students by giving Cash Award. Rs.1,02,000/-
K.B. Yeswanth – I B.com Ken Bin Kai Junior National Karate Championship I Place with Winner Cup at Bangalore.
E. Senthamizh Arasu – III B.B.A 85 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter – Zone Weight Lifting Competition and also represents the All India Weight Lifting at Udaipur City.
M. Purusothaman – II M.com State Level First Place, P. Thenmizh Selvan – II M.Sc. I.T. Third place in Adhitynar Memorial Tamil Nadu Boxing Association in Neyveli.
D. Justin Dhiraviyam – III B.com was paced Inter-zone Second in the Weight Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
B.Senthamizhan – I B.com C.S was placed Inter zone Second in the Power Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.

N. Sathish II B.com C.S. 66 kg Weight Category was placed second in Inter-zone Power Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
N. Jayasankar – I B.Sc. Maths.83 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter-zone Power Lifting Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
P. Bharathidasan – III B.com 80 kg Weight Category was placed First in Inter-zone Best Physique Competition Conducted by University of Madras.
