As part of the NSS Day Celebration held on 24 September 2026, the NSS Unit of Sri Ram College of Arts and Science, actively participated in a palm seed sowing programme at the Perumalpattu Village Lake near Mullai Nagar.

The programme was organised with the objective of promoting environmental conservation and creating awareness among students about the importance of protecting and enhancing our natural resources.

NSS volunteers enthusiastically took part in the plantation activity and sowed palm seeds around the lake area. The programme encouraged students to develop a sense of social responsibility and environmental consciousness.
